Experience the Adventure

Sitka is home to world-class Alaska salmon and halibut fishing. There is simply no other place like it. At Capt’n Tony’s Charters we target both salmon and halibut each day. In addition to the huge salmon and halibut, we also catch lingcod, yelloweye and other rockfish.

Surrounded by majestic scenery, the waters, mountains, and islands around Sitka boast abundant wildlife. During your experience, you will likely see bald eagles, puffins, sea otters, whales, and other marine mammals; it is not uncommon to see a bear or deer walking the beach. These incredible views and wildlife sightings make for exciting boat rides to and from the fishing grounds.

Our fishing trips are fully-guided on a 2018 custom built 32-foot aluminum walk-around with a fully enclosed, heated cabin and plenty of comfortable seating. The boat is powered by twin Honda 250hp outboards with a Honda 60hp kicker. It is equipped with Scotty electric downriggers to help trolling for those big kings!

1 DAY OF FISHING

What to Bring

We recommend that you pack light and try to fit what you need into your carry-on bag.  This will especially save money on your return trip by checking your fish boxes as baggage.

The weather here is mild during the summer.  We recommend you bring clothes that can be layered so you can remove and add clothes as needed. A sweater and hat are a good idea. A few other things you don’t want to forget are sun screen, sun glasses, and of course your camera!
